Our Terracotta Bowl has been handmade by artisans in China. Crafted of unglazed earthenware, each unique bowl features a naturally aged finish with a raw, clay-colored exterior and a white-washed interior. Terracotta has a long history as a sculptural art, dating back to Prehistoric times. One of the great works of terracotta sculpture is the set of fired clay figures known as the Chinese Terracotta Army. Consisting of 8,000 clay warriors and horses, this masterpiece from the Qin Dynasty took almost 40 years to complete.
This bowl is a rustic and stylish piece for both indoors and out. Use yours to hold a display of natural elements such as moss or twigs as a table centerpiece, or leave it outside for a weathered accent. Please note this bowl does not have a drainage hole.
This bowl is approximately 10" round and 3.5" H.
