Hand-carved from a single piece of wood by the Bamileke people of Cameroon, this small accent table is traditionally used as a ceremonial seat. The intricate lattice pattern carved into each stool is meant to represent the earth spider, a symbol of wisdom in Bamileke culture. This stool’s small size means it’s a versatile piece that can serve as a cocktail or end table, perfect for a book, candle, or vase of flowers.
As with all handmade items, variations occur. No two pieces are exactly the same. You may not receive the exact table pictured.
Wipe with a damp cloth. Dry completely. Avoid harsh cleaners or chemicals. Please handle with care.
