This petite vintage rug has been handwoven from wool in the Anatolian region of Turkey. Referred to as a Yastik, Turkish rugs of this nature are known for their small size and traditional use as an extra place to sit in a family’s home. A Yastik is the perfect size to use in your home’s bathroom, kitchen, or a small transitional space such as a hallway or entry.
As with all handmade items, variations may occur. Variations in color and size are qualities of its vintage condition and not considered defects.
Vacuum regularly on both sides on a low setting. To spot clean, soak up any excess liquid and rinse with clean water. Blot to dry. Professional rug cleaner recommended (do not dry clean, do not machine wash).
