Lassi Cup III

  • Our Vintage Lassi Cup has been handcrafted by artisans in Rajasthan, India. Made of brass, its original use was to serve lassi, a popular drink that is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. Traditional lassi is either salted or sweet and is served chilled and enjoyed with lunch.

Each cup features meticulously etched botanical patterns created by piercing the metal with a small hand-held tool. It is approximately 50 – 60 years old. Its patina, consistent with age and wear, makes for an exquisite and unique vase or decorative holder for pens, toothbrushes, or anything else you can think of.

We love that each individual lassi cup has a story to tell about its origins and heritage. Style them on your desk, bedside table or vanity for a chic and storied holder for all of your treasures.

  • This Lassi Cup is approximately 3”D x 4.5”H. Not intended for use with food.

Each Lassi Cup has been individually crafted by hand and no two are exactly alike. Due to the age of each piece, there may be small marks, scratches and some variation in color that are consistent with the cup’s age and original use. These markings add to the item’s patina, and tell a story of its unique history and heritage. Please Contact Us if you have any specific needs or questions.

  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Dry completely. Avoid harsh cleaners or chemicals. Please handle with care.
