Meridian travels the world to find the best artisans producing heirloom quality crafts using traditional skills and authentic cultural production techniques. We build ongoing and sustainable partnerships with master artisan organizations of all sizes, including cooperatives, boutique workshops and social enterprises. Our focus is to build these partnerships in developing nations through the practice of fair trade principles. We seek to make an ongoing and lasting social impact with our partners to build their capacity, improve their access to markets, and provide financial and technical assistance.

When we’re not on the road, we seek out small businesses in the United States to complete our finishing touches. The standards we use to evaluate our artisan providers around the world do not stop at the border; we value likeminded partners at home who uphold similar principles.

Our textile soft goods collection is hand cut and sewn in Brooklyn, New York. Brooklyn is the new hub for fashion and design in New York City and we are proud to be a part of the movement to integrate an ethical supply chain and local manufacturing into our business practices.

Our brand tags and name plates are made by a family owned and operated small business that also provides materials to the US Armed Forces. All of these materials are proudly made in the USA.
